City government, with no electoral distractions: Secretary Aranda
No city officials have shown any political desire to look for an election position, according to what city General Secretary, Marco Antonio Aranda, said.
“It is quite valid for anyone to express their wish to compete in the upcoming election, but the legal time frame is not ready yet, so they are all working hard to comply with their assigned responsibilities”, pointed out Aranda.
He added that he cannot, offhand, say that no one will take part in the electoral process, but he also mentioned that he’s sure that whoever does participate, will be careful to obey all current laws in the matter, including waiting for the legal times, to start their respective primaries or campaigns.
